Samuel Saenz (Jyo Kyo Nym)

Promoted in February 2015, JKN Sam has already established himself as a leader and mentor to the younger Students. His friendly demeanor means all Students of all ages are happy to seek his assistance and guidance. JKN Sam is also our Halloween organizer and makes our Kuk Sool Haunted Woods the success it is every year!

Carlene Lightfoot (Jyo Kyo Nym)

Also promoted in May 2015 JKN Carlene is a prime example of both health and fitness. Always with her “Fitbit” JKN Carlene ensures that her training is to her full capacity, and the results speak for themselves. A dedicated Black Belt, who participates in all the WKSA and School activities.

Nathanael McDonald (Jyo Kyo Nym)

December 2011 was when a quite shy young boy joined Kuk Sool Won of Kingwood. After nearly four years of practice that quiet shy young boy has now turned into a confident young man, who participates in many other activities and is very successful. Along with his class mate JKN Bianca, Nathanael became JKN in August 2015.

Marissa Rodriguez (Jo Kyo Nym)

Promoted in November 2013, JKN is renowned for her Staff Work. JKN is a Staff Gold Medal winner and an inspiration to all the other Students who are fortunate to see her practice. JKN has attended more classes than any other Student- currently having attended over 800 Classes!

Brianna Saenz (Jyo Kyo Nym)

JKN Brianna, promoted in November 2014, the first in her family to reach Black Belt. Both her Dad and her brother train in Kingwood. JKN enjoyed a whole three months where she was the only Black Belt in the family and her smile lit up the room when her Dad had to bow and show respect to JKN. Dad (Sam Saenz) was promoted to 1st Degree Black Belt himself in February 2015.

Ruben Sandoval (Jo Kyo Nym)

Promoted to 1st Degree Black Belt in February 2013, JKN Ruben really enjoys assisting his fellow Students and does all he can to help them reach their goal. An avid practitioner attending Class a minimum of three times a week, Students respect his determination for self-improvement and follow his advice to them of “We Need More Practice”.
